Intern, Marketing

About the role

The Marketing Intern will maintain good contact with mall personnel and coordinate efforts and participation during promotions. They will screen questions & requests from tenants, vendors, and the public, responding to or resolving problems as qualified. Additionally, they will assist in coordinating special events at the property.

Responsibilities

• Affords assistance in coordinating special events at the property
• Show strong working knowledge of Social Media: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, & FourSquare
• Show proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
• Show effective communication (verbal/written), organizational and interpersonal skills
• Show effective conflict resolution and customer service skills for interaction with customers, tenants, and co-workers
• Ability to prioritize, coordinate, multi-task, and demonstrate initiative
• Work well independently and as a team

Requirements

• Must be able to work business hours Monday-Friday with occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Pay

The salary range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00 per hour. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon various factors, including an individual's skills, experience, qualifications and the geographic location of the job. It is uncommon for an individual to be hired at the top end of the pay range.

Business hours Monday-Friday with occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
