Intern, Marketing

About the Role

This position is based at Roosevelt Field Mall and involves maintaining strong contact with mall personnel while coordinating efforts and participation during promotions. The Marketing Intern will handle inquiries and requests from tenants, vendors, and the public, resolving issues as appropriate. Additionally, the role includes assisting in the coordination of special events at the property.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and collaborate closely with other managers and associates on the Roosevelt Field mall management team.
• Maintain regular contact with retail store managers to secure participation in upcoming events and programs.
• Assist with the coordination and management of special events and promotions.
• Secure outside offers and additional retail store participation in the SIMON+ customer loyalty program.
• Produce short-form video and carousel content that meets company standards to promote mall amenities, retailers, and restaurants on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
• Work a consistent part-time schedule (days and hours to be determined), with occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Skills

• Strong working knowledge of social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
• Proficiency with short-form video production and tools such as CapCut and Canva.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Sprout is preferred.
• Effective communication (verbal and written), organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong conflict resolution and customer service skills for interactions with customers, tenants, and co-workers.
• Ability to prioritize, coordinate, multi-task, and demonstrate initiative.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $18.00–$22.00 per hour. Actual compensation within this range will depend on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location. It is uncommon for an individual to be hired at the top end of the range.
