Intern - Life Sciences Advisory, Health Segment - Campus 2027

About the role

The Guidehouse Internship Program offers interns real-world projects, showcasing the Guidehouse culture and providing a meaningful consulting experience. Interns work collaboratively on both internal and client projects, contributing to analyses and deliverables valued on client engagements. Each intern is paired with a Buddy to assist in navigating the Guidehouse experience, alongside support from project teams.

• 10-week experience in Summer 2027 (anticipated start: Monday, June 7; end: Friday, August 13)
• Learning & Development Sessions (e-learning and instructor-led)
• Mid-point and final evaluations
• Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) intern event

• Intern Speaker Series
• Collaborative group projects

This position develops analytical, creative, and interpersonal skills essential to effective strategy consulting. Interns support Guidehouse Life Sciences teams through all aspects of project work, including:

• Engaging in interviews with physicians, payers, and other healthcare thought leaders
• Gathering and analyzing medical literature, healthcare market reports, and databases
• Developing strategic frameworks to communicate complex ideas clearly
• Participating in document writing, production, and client presentations

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program through Fall 2027; must graduate by Summer 2028
• No prior experience required
• Must not require sponsorship now or in the future to work in the United States; students with F-1 or J-1 visas are excluded

Qualifications

Preferred degrees and concentrations:

• BA, BS, MPH, MBA, or MS-BA in Biology, Biochemistry, Business, Biomedical Engineering, Biometry, Economics, Finance, Health, Neurobiology, Neuroscience, Pharmacy, Pharmacology, Physiology, or Public Health

Additional preferred qualifications:

• Demonstrated interest in Life Sciences consulting
• Critical thinking, creativity, and strong oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency in data collection, organization, and quantitative analysis
• High motivation and initiative
• PowerPoint and Excel skills with ability to think graphically

Pay

The annual salary range for this position is $59,000.00–$98,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on skill sets, experience, training, security clearances, licensure, certifications, and business needs.
