About the role

The International Tax - Global Mobility Intern supports Global Mobility Tax consultants and tax professionals across the firm. Under the supervision of International Tax Global Mobility leadership, the Intern will contribute to daily responsibilities and projects.

Responsibilities

• Learn aspects of Global Mobility Services, focusing on individual income tax compliance, tax consulting and planning, social security tax compliance, and withholding tax implications for employees, employers, and high-net-worth individuals working in and out of the U.S.
• Collaborate with professionals within Tax Specialty Services to diagnose, solve, develop, and implement tax solutions.
• Prepare draft tax compliance and assist in delivering client projects, using quantitative analysis to address arising issues.
• Assist with U.S. tax reporting for international transactions, including informational foreign reporting.
• Use computer programs such as TaxCaddy, SurePrep, GoSystems, and Microsoft Office to assist with client deliverables.
• Uphold Forvis Mazars' commitment to unmatched client experience (UCX) through timely and responsive communication with internal and external clients.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an Accounting degree.
• Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• All accounting (or job-relevant) coursework completed with a grade of C or above.
• Intermediate Accounting completed with a grade of C or above, where applicable.
• Solid technical accounting knowledge.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications
