About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a local Undergraduate Intern with a field of study in Computer Science to join our Information Resources Energy team in San Diego, California. This is a part-time position running from September 14, 2026, to August 31, 2027.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the day-to-day activities of the assigned functional area, assisting in the completion of routine and non-routine tasks.
- Handle image data processing, coding, weekly reporting, and deliver a final presentation.
- Apply knowledge to analyze, investigate, and resolve problems.
- Assist in developing electronic and hard copy reports, records, diagrams, and charts.
- Observe all laws, regulations, and applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the company.
- Work safely in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
Requirements
- Active enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student at a recognized college or university.
- Full- or part-time continuing student enrolled in an accredited U.S. college or university.
- Applicants who will have completed their undergraduate degree by the start of the internship must be planning to continue in a graduate program immediately afterward.
- 3.0 cumulative GPA preferred.
- Ability to understand and apply new concepts accurately.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions, policies, and procedures.
- Basic communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal professionals.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Basic computer skills.

Pay
This position pays an hourly rate of $30.00 - $32.00, depending on your field of study and the number of college years completed.
Schedule
- Part-time: 20 hours per week.
- Monday - Friday.
- Duration: September 14, 2026, to August 31, 2027.
