Intern - Finance (Summer 2027)

About the role

As a FedEx Intern, you will be working on projects gaining you valuable, real-world experience in a professional environment as it relates to your field of study.

Responsibilities

• Present and deliver long-term solutions that will have significant impacts to the business and/or customer experience.
• Participates in various networking and/or community service events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education

• Currently enrolled student or recent college graduate (within 6 months of graduation) at a college/university.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Statistics, or other quantitative discipline.

Experience

No experience required.

Qualifications

• Ability to work productively and proactively, both independently or as part of a team.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills.
• Time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills necessary to work in a fast-paced environment, handling various tasks and changing priorities while maintaining high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Verbal and written communication skills necessary to communicate across business units and to all levels of management.
• Ability to analyze, review, and make recommendations.

Preferred Skills

• Organizational, time management, planning, process analysis, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong Visio and PowerPoint skills.

Schedule

Availability to work 40 hours/week for a 10-week program, June 7th – August 13th.

Location

This position is hybrid in Pittsburgh, PA. Candidates must live within a 50-mile radius and will be required to work at a FedEx office location up to several times per week.

Pay

• Undergraduate interns: $25/hour
• Graduate interns: $30/hour
• A $2,000 relocation stipend is available for those relocating over 50 miles for an on-site or hybrid internship or co-op experience.
