Internship Details

Full-time Summer Internship, starting in late May / early June and ending in late August. Duration: 10–12 weeks. Location: Primarily on-site in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Compensation: Paid at an hourly rate; housing stipend potentially available.

Overview

Engineering assignments take on the world's toughest challenges — clean power and affordable energy — and are motivated by real business priorities. As an intern, you could work on a variety of high-impact teams, potentially including product design, mechanical development, analysis, controls, remote data monitoring, advanced and additive manufacturing, testing and validation, combustion, performance, services, technical fulfillment, and cost-out. Applicable candidates include rising college sophomores and juniors.

Qualifications

  • GPA greater than or equal to 3.0 / 4.0 overall
  • High school coursework focus: STEM, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering; other technology-based studies such as Computer Engineering, Mechanical Design, or other engine-related coursework focus will also be considered
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn
  • Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required
