Work Schedule: 40hrs per week Job Responsibilities Support the development, optimization, evaluation, and validation of diagnostic assays in a CLIA-certified laboratory environmentWorking under the supervision of a Research Associate or Scientist, the intern will gain hands-on experience in assay development, analytical testing, data analysis, and laboratory operations Minimum Qualifications Current enrollment in an undergraduate Bachelor’s degree program in Biology, Chemistry, Life Science, or Pre-Medicine track Additional Job Standards Interest in chemistry, biology, and lab related researchEagerness to learn new laboratory skills and scientific concepts Join Labcorp’s 2027 Global Internship Program and take the first step toward a meaningful career in healthcare innovation! Internship 2027 Dates: June 1, 2027-August 13, 2027 About The Team The Diagnostic Research Intern will support the development, optimization, evaluation, and validation of diagnostic assays in a CLIA-certified laboratory environment. Working under the supervision of a Research Associate or Scientist, the intern will gain hands-on experience in assay development, analytical testing, data analysis, and laboratory operations. This position provides an opportunity to contribute to the advancement of innovative diagnostic tests. Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
