Internship Overview

  • Time Commitment: 20 hours per week

  • Internship Duration: 9/8/26 - 12/11/26

  • Location: Denver, CO or immediate surrounding area (in office position)

  • Salary: $23.00 per hour

  • Internship Outcomes: Gain important and practical job skills, explore a career-path, enrich academic and professional resume, and make a difference in the lives of others

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Event Coordinators, Development Directors, and Market Leadership to support fundraising campaigns in the Denver market.

  • Assistance with the development and implementation of fundraising activities, logistics, and administrative support.

  • Assistance with pre-campaign planning, day of event execution, and post-campaign wrap-up projects.

  • Aid in volunteer management including prepping for and attending externally facing meetings (both in-person and virtual).

  • Conduct prospect research to generate new leads and compile information for fundraising campaigns.

  • Support Hands-Only CPR demonstrations

Qualifications

  • Candidates who are seniors or graduate students pursuing a degree in business, marketing, event planning, public relations, or a related field are preferred.

  • Experience/interest in promotion, sales, or fundraising.

  • Experience with event planning for a non-profit or for-profit organization.

  • Experience with public speaking and community engagement.

  • Demonstrated skills in effective one-on-one and group communications and comfort with working professionally with all levels of community leaders, volunteers, and staff.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities involving multiple entities.

  • Intermediate to excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

  • Must have reliable transportation.
