Intern, Communications & Media Services - Fall Semester 2026
Responsibilities
- Perform various game-night duties including staffing of press gate, running stats and transcribing quotes
- Update daily news clippings from various publications for ownership and management
- Absorb and assist in set-up for game night media areas (credentialing, media seating)
- Absorb and assist in assembling media information for visiting team media and national media for all games
- Absorb and assist with staffing media events including press conferences and media availabilities at community events
- Absorb and assist with editing media materials such as game night program information, press releases, media advisories and team media guide
- Compile media tracking reports for internal and external uses
- Field inbound fan questions related to tickets and troubleshoot technical issues
- Other duties as assigned

- Must be a junior or senior undergraduate student or graduate student

- Ability to work scheduled home games and events
About the Role
The mission of the Boston Celtics internship program is to educate its participants in all aspects of operating a professional sports organization. Through observation and practical experience, interns learn how to function in a professional environment that requires a high energy level, the ability to perform under pressure and the utilization of essential time management skills. Through these developments, the Boston Celtics strive to successfully prepare their interns to compete for positions in the professional sports industry.
