Intern/Co-op - Help Desk (Summer & Fall 2026)

About the role

Langan is seeking a Help Desk Intern or Co-op to join its collaborative Information Technology team in Parsippany, NJ. This individual will serve a key function in troubleshooting technical issues and repairing and maintaining all types of computer and peripheral hardware. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects in a team environment while gaining practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and repair PCs and peripherals
• Perform software installations
• Minor printer repair and support
• Occasionally provide telephone, e-mail, and live chat technical support
• Perform other duties as requested

Requirements

• Student actively pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
• Ability to work at least 25 hours/week during the fall semester
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Strong attention to detail with excellent customer service skills
• Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to potentially travel to satellite offices to provide on-site support
• Preference given to students in their Jr. or Sr. year or pursuing an MS degree

Skills

• Programming and/or networking experience a plus
• Data entry, inventory, and video editing experience preferred

Pay

Pay Range: $20—$23 USD per hour
