Intern - Campus Recruiting
Nelnet is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our Campus Recruiting team. This position is responsible for developing and marketing our dynamic internship programming.
About the role
The Campus Recruiting team leads all internship recruiting and marketing for Nelnet's businesses, while supporting and engaging our current intern class. The ideal candidate will interact with potential candidates through various recruiting activities, craft marketing strategies, and participate in team meetings.
Responsibilities
- Interact with potential candidates through recruiting activities, reviewing resumes, phone screens, scheduling interviews, conducting interviews, and completing any additional parts of the hiring process.
- Craft marketing strategies, focused content, and posts that target early-career and college audiences for Nelnet On Campus channels; analyze social media outcomes.
- Understand and articulate Nelnet’s business lines, product/service offerings and markets to prospective associates and current interns.
- Support Nelnet’s intern program by planning/leading events and creating programming.
- Collaborate with Corporate Recruiting associates on projects related to other areas of Nelnet.
- Absorb data entry to better inform Campus Recruiting strategy and improve future decision making.
- Assist with clerical duties as needed.
Requirements
Rising Junior or Senior working towards a 4-year degree in Marketing, AD/PR, Human Resources or related field.
Experience
Prior internship experience ideal (does not have to be related to HR/Campus Recruiting).

Education
Education: Rising Junior or Senior working towards a 4-year degree in Marketing, AD/PR, Human Resources or related field.
Pay
$16 - $17/hourly
