About the role

Support the set-up, configuration, and documentation of hardware and software systems under test, including loading software onto multiple devices. Assist in the design, development, and implementation of cost-effective procedures for testing and troubleshooting of components, sub-assemblies, assemblies, and systems. Contribute to the development of test plans, test procedures, requirements traceability, test reports, test flow, and test case design and implementation. Document testing issues and failures and perform analysis of test results. Support formal systems acceptance testing activities and present test strategies, plans, and results to internal and external customers. Assist with failure investigation activities and failure review board (FRB) meetings.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, a Master’s degree, or a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related field at an accredited university

Skills

  • Knowledge of communications systems, software programming languages, automated software test, networks, network security, power systems, antennas, RF, and/or mechanical design and analysis
  • Requirements analysis and verification
  • Software scripting and usage of automated testing frameworks and applications

Pay

The salary range for this role in Virginia (Greater D.C. area) is $25.50 per hour - $48.00 per hour. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.

Schedule

9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked, and have every other Friday off.
