About the role

Join our team at Maryland Oncology Hematology! We’re looking for passionate and talented professionals to provide exceptional cancer care across 15+ locations in Maryland and DC. This role involves collaboration and coordination with research program staff, physicians, patients, and other office staff, acting as a liaison to ensure smooth operations and adherence to office policies and procedures.

The general pay scale for this position is $16.36 - $25.17 per hour. The actual hiring rate depends on factors such as prior work experience, education, job responsibilities, location, and work performance.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates office procedures with medical staff and billing office to ensure smooth flow of information within departments.
  • Implements and complies with Company Reimbursement Policies and Procedures to maximize efficiency.
  • Maintains HIPAA and Good Clinical Practice compliance.
  • Assists in the development and administration of office policies and procedures.
  • Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.

Requirements

  • Must be team-oriented, detail-oriented, motivated, friendly, professional, and responsible.
  • Work permit required if under the age of 16.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication and grammar skills.
