Essential Functions

• Collects and consolidates product or material information from several sources.
• Creates or adjusts scale of detail drawing as required, makes accurate-to-scale drawings, at times three-dimensional.
• Draws sectional views to clarify positioning of components. Draws sub-assemblies with irregular shapes, multiple functions, and precise positional relationships between components. May calculate quantities of materials used, using established formulae or manuals.
• Affords technical support to line operations, sales, and warranty in specialty areas by offering support to Design Engineers when they make drawing changes.
• May work with sales/customers on order review and/or change orders and may aid production personnel. Must be able to prioritize duties.

Minimum Requirements

• Must have strong skills in drafting programs (AutoCad).
• Knowledge of MRP systems, Microsoft and database systems and comfortable working with computers.
• Must be a current college student.

• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
• The employee is frequently required to stand; walk and sit.
• The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.
