Intern

Job Summary

The Intern will observe departmental processes based on designated department within Lexington Medical Center. Intern will support departmental needs by providing administrative and operational support as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED; Currently pursuing bachelor's degree and majoring in a field relevant to internship or field approved by hiring manager.
• Minimum Years of Experience: None
• Substitutable Education & Experience (Optional): None
• Required Certifications/Licenses: None
• Required Training: Must be motivated, organized, and possess good communication skills.

Essential Functions

• Duties and Responsibilities will vary based on designated department.
• Performs operational and administrative functions within the department, which may include:
• Answering phone inquiries
• Aiding with mail deliveries
• Performing clerical duties such as taking memos, maintaining files, organizing documents, etc.
• Assisting in the preparation of information for department needs.
• Taking notes and memos during meetings.
• May create draft documents or reports.
• Helping with database management. May input information.
• Assisting with planning and events.
• May attend company functions and networking events with team members.
• Responding to Emails
