Intern
Position Summary
Greenberg Traurig is pleased to offer a structured non-credit internship program developed in partnership with Clayton State University. This program is designed to provide high-potential students with meaningful, hands-on experience in a dynamic, fast-paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Pre-Law Track: Gain substantive exposure to the practice of law by working alongside attorneys across one or more of the firm’s practice groups. Responsibilities may include providing support to litigation attorneys and paralegals on active matters, shadowing attorneys, assisting with legal research, drafting correspondence, and trial preparation.
- Paralegal Studies Track: Gain direct exposure to the legal profession by working alongside experienced paralegals and attorneys within the firm's litigation practice group. Responsibilities may include supporting litigation attorneys, organizing and maintaining case files, preparing court binders, tracking and scheduling court appearances, and assisting with trial preparation.
- Legal Operations Track: Gain broad exposure to the business functions that support a large, multi-office law firm. Responsibilities may include rotating through operational departments, assisting with department-specific projects, contributing to process improvement initiatives, and learning new software applications.

- Technology proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software applications quickly
- Familiarity with, or willingness to learn, firm-approved AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar platforms) to support daily workflow and/or improve work quality
Education
- Currently enrolled at Clayton State University as a rising junior or senior pursuing an undergraduate degree in a field relevant to the selected track (e.g., Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, Business Administration, Marketing, Accounting, or a related field)
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 required
