About the role
This is a part-time temporary hybrid internship opportunity. The role will provide support to our commercial real estate professionals on the appraisal and consulting and/or valuation management team, on a national basis, across all major property types for our national clients, which include some of the largest and most prominent financial institutions, pension funds, and insurance companies.
Responsibilities
- Learn about commercial real estate research, data, and the three approaches to value
- Assist with preparation of appraisal reports
- Coordinate the valuation management appraisal review process
- Track and close out quarterly processes
- Perform valuations and/or appraisal reviews
- Manage workflow to produce on-time deliveries
- Help execute portfolio valuations and large consulting engagements through organizational and technical skills
- Communicate and coordinate with market participants, clients, and co-workers
- Review third-party appraisal reports
- Research property and market information
- Analyze subject and comparable data
- Develop appraisal and consulting reports and other deliverables
- Work independently on projects and collaborate face-to-face as a team player
- Manage processes and procedures
- Track the entire workflow process from beginning to end
- Other activities as assigned by your manager
Requirements
- Working towards a bachelor’s degree – preferred fields of study include Real Estate, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Attention to detail and strong organization skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Special Requirements
The employee may be required to report to a different local office as a normal, contemplated, and mandated incident of their employment.

Pay
The annual full-time base salary range for this role is $22.50 - $22.50. Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location, and alignment with market data.
