Intern - AI Hardware and Memory Systems
for section headings like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We need to include sections only if there is real specific content. We must preserve all substantive info, not invent or summarize away detail. Remove boilerplate etc.
We need to decide what sections to include.
Content:
- Vision/mission statements: "Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all. Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever. At Micron Technology, we transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all. The HBM Architecture team is at the forefront of developing next-generation memory solutions that enable advances in artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, and data-intensive applications. The team researches and evaluates innovative memory and system architecture concepts, working across disciplines to optimize performance, power efficiency, and scalability for future computing platforms. Join a collaborative environment where innovative research is transformed into technologies that shape the future of AI infrastructure."
That could be "About the role" or maybe "About the team". The instruction says use for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). So we can have "About the role" as heading.
Then "As a PhD Intern on the HBM Architecture team, you will research and prototype advanced memory and system architecture concepts for next-generation AI accelerators. You will develop performance models, analyze AI workloads, and evaluate how memory hierarchy and interconnect design choices impact system performance, power efficiency, and scalability. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with experienced architects and engineers while contributing to the future of AI computing systems." This also fits under About the role.
Then Responsibilities: list bullet points.
Then Minimum Qualifications: list bullet points.
Then Preferred Qualifications: list bullet points.
Then Pay: The posting includes "The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is: $50.24 - $50.24 an hour Additional Compensation May Include Benefits, Bonuses And Equity." So we have a pay range: $50.24 - $50.24 an hour (same min and max). That's specific content, so we should include Pay section. Also mention additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses, equity. But we should not invent details; we can include that line.
Benefits: The posting includes a paragraph about benefits: "As a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth. Micron benefits are designed to help you stay well, provide peace of mind and help you prepare for the future. We offer a choice of medical, dental and vision plans in all locations enabling team members to select the plans that best meet their family healthcare needs and budget. Micron also provides benefit programs that help protect your income if you are unable to work due to illness or injury, and paid family leave. Additionally, Micron benefits include a robust paid time-off program and paid holidays. For additional information regarding the Benefit programs available, please see the Benefits Guide posted on micron.com/careers/benefits."
That's substantive benefits info. So we should include Benefits section.
Schedule: Not mentioned. No schedule info. So we should not include Schedule.
Skills: Not explicitly separate; qualifications cover skills. Could we have a Skills section? The instruction says we can use Skills heading if there is real specific content. The posting does not have a separate "Skills" bullet list; qualifications include knowledge and experience. Might be better to not create a Skills section to avoid thin content. We'll stick with About the role, Responsibilities, Minimum Qualifications, Preferred Qualifications, Pay, Benefits.
We must not repeat the job title as a heading. The job title is "PhD Intern on the HBM Architecture team". We should not put that as heading.
We must not put Job ID/requisition numbers as headings; none present.
We must remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. So we need to strip out the EEO statement, the fraud alert, AI alert, etc. Also remove the "To learn about your right to work click here." etc. Also remove "Micron Prohibits the use of child labor..." etc. Also remove "AI alert: Candidates are encouraged..." etc. Also remove "Fraud alert: Micron advises job seekers..." etc. Also remove "To learn more about Micron, please visit micron.com/careers US Sites Only: To request assistance..." etc. Also remove "Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only..." maybe that's part of Pay section? It's about compensation details; we could keep it as part of Pay section if it's substantive. It says: "Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits. As a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
That's benefits info; we already have Benefits section. The note about compensation details being base salary only is relevant to Pay section. We'll include that in Pay section.
We must not include duplicated lines. Ensure we don't repeat same sentences.
