Format: Hybrid – in-person Monday–Thursday and remote on Fridays
Dates: May 31st – August 6th
Work Authorization: Permanent US Work Authorization required

About the Program

The Royal Caribbean Group 10-week internship program is designed to cultivate future leaders by providing meaningful work experiences within various departments in the organization. Interns will work alongside industry professionals to develop their skills and understanding of the cruise and travel industry. The program offers students the opportunity to gain real-world experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment, contributing to projects that impact millions of vacationers worldwide.

During the program, interns will experience professional development sessions, community service opportunities, executive spotlights, and behind-the-scenes ship tours.

About the Department

The Accounting Department is the financial backbone, ensuring every dollar—from cruise fare sales to onboard purchases and more—is accurately recorded, reported, and regulated. It’s a vital function that keeps the company financially healthy and compliant and helps support strategic decisions. The department handles unique complexities such as global operations (accounts receivable and payable), shipboard revenues, and capital-intensive assets.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field of study with expected graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028
  • Must have authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis
  • Minimum GPA of 3.2 is highly preferred
  • Previous experience in related areas
