What You'll Be Doing:
- Comply with all Safety Department policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Run successful preventative maintenance program efficiently at assigned Terminal(s).
- Responsible for repairing and servicing customer and company-owned equipment.
- Perform scheduled inspections for planned maintenance.
- Conduct evaluations on malfunctioning equipment.
- Maintain logs of equipment condition and work performed.
- Responsible for monitoring company-owned assets, equipment, and tools.
- Complete daily site activities at Intermodal terminals as assigned.
- Complete work orders, timecards, and customer maintenance records.
- Complete uniform maintenance record keeping protocol at terminal.
- Create parts lists for equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Willing to work with the Purchasing Department / Parts Department
- Willing to work in the weather elements (hot and cold environments)
- Willing to work at heights (80 feet) in man basket / aerial lift.
- Willing to work overtime as assigned.
- Participate in Call Out Rotation (On call to respond to customer needs)
- Knowledge of electrical and hydraulic machine systems
- Other duties as assigned
What You'll Need to Bring to the Table:
- Belief that safety is a necessity, not an option
- At least 5 years of heavy equipment maintenance and repair experience
- Extensive knowledge on hydraulic, electrical, and engine systems
- Understanding of various OEM platforms
- Understanding preventative maintenance
- Intermediate computer skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent record-keeping capabilities
- Collaborative spirit
- Physical ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs. throughout a normal shift

- Gantry cranes
