Intermittent Interpreter - Mandarin
Summary
Intermittent Interpreters provide interpreting services during court proceedings and may assist in customer service settings. They are court employees scheduled on an as-needed basis without set hours. Eligible for Social Security and Workers' Compensation.
SALARY RATE
- $47.20 per hour
- Four-hour minimum guarantee of paid time
- Paid hourly for each additional hour worked past the four-hour minimum
Minimum Qualifications
Valid and current certification as a "Certified Court Interpreter" in Mandarin, as issued by the Judicial Council of California. Applicants without certification will not be considered.
