Roles & Responsibilities
- Leverage and grow systems engineering expertise to support the design, implementation, and integration of enterprise systems and systems-of-systems
- Analyze missions for federal agencies, determining areas where MITRE can have an impact
- Apply modern methods and tools such as Model-Based Systems Engineering, Digital Engineering, Mission Engineering, Machine Learning, and Data Analytics
- Evaluate and compare alternative architectures using qualitative and quantitative techniques
- Identify or develop metrics to measure and analyze system properties
- Support requirements management, interface management, architecture development, architecture change management, and test and evaluation processes
- Perform system design and development, systems modernization, and architecture activities using MBSE and digital engineering approaches
- Translate analysis results into actionable recommendations for U.S. Government agencies
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline
- 2 years of experience in systems engineering and enterprise architecture
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance
- U.S. Citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in a relevant field
- Proficiency with modern systems and digital engineering tools and methods
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills using programming and analysis tools
- Broad systems engineering experience across concept development, requirements, architecture, design, test, evaluation, and risk assessment
- Proven ability to operate in complex systems-of-systems environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Pay
$95,200 - $119,000 - $142,800 annual salary compensation range and midpoint
