Responsibilities
- Receive and direct teams in the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Review and document daily project requirements, progress, and challenges.
- Provide field documentation, photographic records, charts, and sketches for various third-party adjusters (TPA) projects.
- Perform daily inspections of vehicles for safety and maintain them in good condition.
- Ensure attention to details and compliance with BELFOR standards to protect others' property.
- Work with time constraints to meet specific deadlines.
- Periodically travel and work nights and weekends.
- Report time worked and equipment/consumables used accurately and promptly.
- Attend BELFOR-sponsored operations and security training courses.
Requirements
- Supervise and perform Water Damage Basic tasks.
- Gather and download pictures to job files.
- Maintain equipment used in debris removal, containment/drying chambers, wall cavity drying, pump system, carpet seam cutting, cushion removal, baseboard removal, and Class 4 material identification.
- Identify moisture measurements and deploy effective techniques to dry/restoration material.
- Evaluate the integrity of affected structural materials and contents for both direct and indirect water damage.
- Create moisture maps using provided tools and knowledge.
- Supervise small crews on tasks such as debris removal, containment/drying chambers, wall cavity drying, pump system, carpet seam cutting, cushion removal, baseboard removal, and Class 4 material identification.
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of IICRC S500 Water Damage Standard and IICRC S520 Mold Remediation Standard.
- Current IICRC WRT designation.
- Familiarity with BELFOR Water Damage Book.
- Proper use of appropriate meters and infrared camera, understanding of affected vs unaffected building materials and contents.
- Ability to draw sketches, read floor plans, complete Moisture Content Logs, Pychrometric Logs, and determine drying goals.
- Mastery in air mover calculations, LGR dehumidification charts, electrical power specs, and electrical circuits.
- Mastering the use of HydroSensor, Thermal Hygrometer, NavPro Moisture Meter or equivalent and recording data.
- Experience with truck mount extraction systems, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Experience supervising small crews (up to 10 people) on residential/commercial and industrial losses.
- Eligibility to operate a motor vehicle per BELFOR's vehicle policy.
- English language literacy and fluency.
