About the role
As a key member of our support team, you’ll interact with engineering and construction to understand and communicate issues and conflicts that impact Program schedules. You’ll analyze contractors’ CPM schedules, perform technical schedule reviews, variance reports, recommend workarounds and schedule improvements, and perform both Technical Schedule Reviews and Time Impact Analyses. We’ll lean on you to serve as a scheduling subject matter expert for client interactions, representing Jacobs with professionalism and technical expertise. This role requires the ability to build, maintain, and enhance client relationships while delivering high-quality scheduling services and support.

Responsibilities
- Develop and analyze schedules for large-scale, complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
- Perform technical schedule reviews, variance reports, and recommend workarounds and schedule improvements.
- Conduct Technical Schedule Reviews and Time Impact Analyses.
- Serve as a scheduling subject matter expert for client interactions.
- Establish and maintain schedule baselines, logic integrity, and change control processes.
- Apply critical path analysis, float management, and delay analysis methodologies (TIA, as-planned vs as-built, windows analysis).
- Work with Integrated Master Project and Program schedules.
- Perform constructability and value engineering analysis related to schedules.
- Conduct claims analysis, change order, and time impact analysis.
- Develop cost/schedule analysis presentations both graphically, in writing, and verbally.
- Customize schedule reports and dashboards within programs such as PowerBI to address unique client and stakeholder needs.
- Develop data models, KPIs, and automated reporting dashboards.
- Perform forensic schedule analysis and dispute resolution support.
- Use Primavera (P6) for resource and cost loading, generating Earned Value reports, and creating graphic and tabular progress reports.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of Planning/Scheduling experience.
- Degree in a related field OR related work experience in lieu of education.
- Ability to work a Hybrid model, coming into the assigned Jacobs office nearest you two days a week.

- Familiarity with establishing and maintaining schedule baselines, logic integrity, and change control processes.
- Deep understanding of critical path analysis, float management, and delay analysis methodologies.
- Experience with Integrated Master Project and Program schedules.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Index, Filtering, Data manipulation & summarization) and Excel Functions.
- Thorough understanding of building construction, timelines, and practices.
Qualifications
- 5-8 years of Planning/Scheduling experience (preferred).
- Experience applying DCMA 14-point checks, GAO/DOE schedule best practices, or similar validation frameworks.
- Familiarity with AACE recommended practices (e.g., 29R-03, 22R-10).
- Exposure to Monte Carlo risk analysis tools (Acumen Deltek Fuse, Primavera Risk Analysis, Safran, etc.).
- Experience with EVM (Earned Value Management).
- Experience with data modeling, KPI development, and automated reporting dashboards.
- Excellent communication skills and understanding of technical terminology.
- Good business acumen and a desire to get involved in other aspects of our business (project oversight, business development, etc.).
- Proven planning & scheduling thinking and approach.
- Primavera (P6) experience, including resource and cost loading, generating Earned Value reports, and creating graphic and tabular progress reports.

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $75,000.00 to $125,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
