Intermediate IT Project Manager - EPIC

About the role

The Project Manager IT Intermediate manages and oversees technology projects to ensure completion on time and within budget. This role develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports, conducts risk analysis, and monitors progress against milestones and budgets.

Strongly Preferred: Candidates with EPIC EHR experience in a health system setting.

Responsibilities

• Finalize detailed project plans to ensure timely delivery and meet quality expectations.
• Review project milestones and generate periodic status reports.
• Develop technical project management solutions through analysis and research.
• Examine project risk, incorporate quality measures, and create risk mitigation strategies to reduce or avoid high project risks.
• Provide technical and analytical expertise to the project team while ensuring adherence to quality standards and review of project deliverables.
• Serve as a mentor for other project management professionals and advisor to executives working with the project management team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (Required).
• 3 years of relevant experience (Required).
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (Required).
