Responsibilities

• Performing monitoring, auditing, and analyzing information to ensure information systems reliability and accessibility.
• Preventing and defending against unauthorized access to systems, networks, and data.
• Conducting risk analyses using tools like STIGs, ACAS, and Endpoint Security Solutions (ESS).
• Managing and maintaining security/IA products such as PKI, VPN, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
• Complying with DoD 8140, 8500, 8510, 8551, and CJCSI 6510.01f guidelines.

Requirements

• Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II clearance in accordance with DoD 8140.
• Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Four (4) to Seven (7) years of experience in Information System Security Management.

Skills

• Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) process for certification of DoD systems.
• Understanding and compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies and standards.
• Experience with PKI, VPN, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
• Knowledge of DoD 8140, 8500, 8510, 8551, and CJCSI 6510.01f.

Pay

The proposed salary range for this position in Maryland is $67,062 to $74,820. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
