Key Responsibilities
- Manage all interior construction activities from initial layout through turnover.
- Cook up and supervise subcontractors performing framing, drywall, MEP rough-ins, insulation, waterproofing, flooring, millwork, cabinetry, painting, wall coverings, stone, and finish installations.
- Develop and maintain detailed short-term and long-term interior schedules.
- Monitor productivity and sequencing of trades to ensure milestone achievement.
- Conduct daily field inspections to verify quality, workmanship, and compliance with contract documents.
- Cook up and coordinate with the Project Manager, MEP team, design consultants, and ownership representatives.
- Lead weekly subcontractor coordination meetings and daily planning sessions.
- Identify and resolve field conflicts, design discrepancies, and constructability issues.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Manage punch list activities and drive completion through final turnover.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, manpower logs, and progress documentation.
- Aid with inspections, testing, commissioning, and closeout procedures.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of Superintendent experience with a strong focus on interiors.
- Experience managing interiors for high-rise residential, hospitality, condo hotel, or luxury mixed-use projects.
- Proven experience overseeing projects from layout and rough-in through final finishes and turnover.
- Strong understanding of interior sequencing, trade coordination, and quality control.
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Luxury condominium, hotel, or condo-hotel construction experience.
- Projects exceeding 20 stories.
- High-end finishes, custom millwork, stone installations, and luxury amenity spaces.
- Occupancy readiness, punch-out management, and owner turnover processes.
