Interior Designer, Mid-Senior Level

Responsibilities

• Collaborates on projects from schematic design and design development through construction documents and construction administration.
• Develops precedent image presentations, 3D renderings, finish floor plans, elevations and details, space planning, finish palettes, and furniture specifications.
• Works collaboratively with clients, contractors, vendors and other ISG team members to deliver projects.
• Leads or assists interior designers with the development of design solutions within constraints of client goals, budgets, and codes.
• Utilizes Revit to prepare interior design construction documents to include floor plans, elevations, reflected ceiling plans, millwork details and schedules.
• Prepares interior elevations, finish plans, and millwork details aligned with project requirements.
• Applies knowledge of building codes, ADA guidelines, and life safety requirements to ensure designs meet all regulatory standards.
• Researches and selects appropriate material selections while maintaining resource library.
• Works with all internal disciplines and external consultants to complete project objectives.
• Participates in client meetings and demonstrates an understanding of projects, goals, and expectations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Interior Design experience, preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design (CIDA Accreditation preferred)
• NCIDQ certification or working towards examination
• Commercial Design experience, preferred
• Experience with Revit, Adobe Photoshop, and InDesign is preferred
• Knowledge of the design process, including furniture and specifications, color, and materials
• Able to multi-task and establish priorities
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Self-directed and can work independently with minimal supervision
