Responsibilities
- Collaborates on projects from schematic design and design development through construction documents and construction administration.
- Develops precedent image presentations, 3D renderings, finish floor plans, elevations and details, space planning, finish palettes, and furniture specifications.
- Works collaboratively with clients, contractors, vendors and other ISG team members to deliver projects.
- Leads or assists interior designers with the development of design solutions within constraints of client goals, budgets, and codes.
- Utilizes Revit to prepare interior design construction documents to include floor plans, elevations, reflected ceiling plans, millwork details and schedules.
- Prepares interior elevations, finish plans, and millwork details aligned with project requirements.
- Applies knowledge of building codes, ADA guidelines, and life safety requirements to ensure designs meet all regulatory standards.
- Researches and selects appropriate material selections while maintaining resource library.
- Works with all internal disciplines and external consultants to complete project objectives.
- Participates in client meetings and demonstrates an understanding of projects, goals, and expectations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Interior Design experience, preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design (CIDA Accreditation preferred)
- NCIDQ certification or working towards examination
- Commercial Design experience, preferred
- Experience with Revit, Adobe Photoshop, and InDesign is preferred
- Knowledge of the design process, including furniture and specifications, color, and materials
- Able to multi-task and establish priorities
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Self-directed and can work independently with minimal supervision
