Bachelor's degree in interior design or other appropriate area and three years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Work with Colleges, Design Teams, and Furniture/Product representatives on finishes, furniture layouts, furniture selection, and fabric selections.
- Collaborate with UF Procurement, Design Teams, and Furniture representatives on furniture quotes and oversee furniture installation.
- Assist the PDC Office of the University Architect and Project Managers with design reviews, including floor plans and finishes.
- Support Project Managers in developing project programs, estimating furniture costs, and collaborating on space needs.
- Visit jobsites to measure spaces and cabinetry, and lift materials as needed.
- Create presentations with graphics using Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft programs, and Photoshop.
- Travel may be required; valid Class E driver’s license is required.
- May be on call during adverse weather conditions and available for evening and weekend meetings and events.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in interior design or other appropriate area and three years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft programs, and Photoshop.
- Valid Class E driver’s license.
- Background check required.
Preferred Qualifications
- NCIDQ certification or in progress.
- LEED or WELL certifications.
Schedule
Normal work schedule is 8am – 5pm, Monday through Friday. Work hours and days may vary with assignments and workload.
