ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Transition customer ideas into project designs and layouts that meet customer specifications.
- Ensure designs incorporate all applicable codes, regulations, and furniture design standards.
- Provide guidance to customers on products that will be best suited for their application.
- Work with the Sourcing Specialist to secure new hardware items for custom products.
- Perform independently to effectively manage projects with minimal oversight.
- Provide creative design suggestions to team members on design as well as solutions for complex designs.
- Create professional presentations geared towards the dealer and architectural community.
- Create design packages for both loose furnishings and fixed casework.
- Set up video web calls to review and discuss drawings with customers to gather project details and verification.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Experience and/or Training: 1 year of related work experience.
- Experience: 1 year of experience reading and understanding architectural specifications and plans.
- Experience: 1 year of experience with Project Management.
- Licenses/Certificates: None.
- Technology/Equipment: Familiarity with Auto Cad and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Associate degree in Design related field.
- Experience and/or Training: 2 years of related work experience.
- Licenses/Certificates: None.
- Technology/Equipment: Familiarity with Revit, CET, or other software used in the Engineering field.
