Key Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Project Manager and support projects throughout all phases of design and construction.
- Develop creative and functional interior design concepts that align with client goals and project requirements.
- Collaborate and coordinate with project teams, consultants, and other design disciplines to ensure seamless project execution.
- Review and apply applicable building codes, accessibility standards, and industry regulations.
- Research, evaluate, and specify finishes, furniture, fixtures, equipment (FF&E), and building materials.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, construction documents, and project specifications.
- Create and present design concepts, material boards, and presentations to clients and stakeholders.
- Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and project coordination.
- Conduct site visits as required and prepare construction observation reports.
- Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Represent the firm professionally and uphold its values and commitment to design excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design from a CIDA-accredited program preferred.
- NCIDQ Certification preferred.
- Registered Interior Designer in at least one U.S. state is highly desirable.
- LEED AP credential is a plus.
- Relevant professional or internship experience in commercial or architectural interior design.
- Strong understanding of space planning, construction documentation, building codes, and material selection.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
- Able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Revit or AutoCAD is required.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.
- Familiarity with Rhino, SketchUp, and rendering software such as Lumion, Enscape, or V-Ray is a plus.
