Interior Design Project Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a Project Manager with a successful track record of managing all phases of interior architectural projects from inception through completion, including client interaction, schedule, and financial performance. You will join the team creating branded, interior, amenity spaces for top housing developers across the country. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Additionally, the candidate will assist in business development for new project work, including proposal preparation and interviews.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of the project team (concept through contract documents and contract administration) as well as the client and consultant teams.
• Staffing assignments required to meet project milestones.
• Lead the project team and participate in the development, reviews, and technical aspects of the design execution of a project.
• Oversee project scheduling and financial performance.
• Conduct construction budget reviews and value engineering efforts across the life of the project.
• Contribute to proposal writing and attend interviews for potential projects.
• Mentor staff and help develop the projects’ vision design throughout all project phases.
• Prepare design documents and detailed construction documents during all project phases.
• Communicate design intent verbally, graphically, and in writing to the internal design team, clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Assist in Construction Administration, including shop drawings, material submittals, and periodic site visits during construction.
• Develop and refine team strategies and resources.
