General Responsibilities

  • Assist with establishing the scope of work for projects consistent with Weinstein Properties and project objectives.
  • Create presentation and design documents. Participate in meetings on site or in the office.
  • Finish materials selection, research, and documentation; up to date knowledge of materials. Generate a finish package with appropriate finishes for the design and specify the selected finishes.
  • Create digital presentations and physical finish boards.
  • Perform project site visits to verify dimensions/conditions when needed.
  • Participate in meetings on site or in the office.
  • Aid in reviewing Contractor proposals for scope of work and cost reasonableness.
  • Facilitate communications among the Property Manager, the Leasing Team, the Contractors, Design Project Manager, and the Construction Program Director.
  • Seek timely resolution of work matters.
  • Be responsible for the daily administration of their projects.
  • Process purchase orders, and invoices.
  • Update ongoing tasks using Monday.com to ensure they are completed in a timely manner.
  • Be responsible for providing close-out FF + E documentation at the end of projects to the property teams.
  • Travel is required for site visits, field verifications, and installations.

Required Experience

  • 2-4 years’ experience; or equivalent relevant education and experience.
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office (specifically Word, Excel & Outlook).
  • Intermediate skill level in AutoCAD or TurboCad.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a working vehicle (or access to a vehicle).
  • Familiarity with large- and small-scale projects, both renovation and new construction.
  • Familiarity with the CA process including submittal and RFI review.
