Responsibilities

  • Source, organize, and ship approved specs and samples.
  • Oversee deliveries and assist with installations.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as collecting/returning vendor samples and organizing the sample library.
  • Produce floor plans, elevations, and detail drawings using AutoCAD.
  • Update the catalog library.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements.
  • Develop interior design concepts that align with project goals.
  • Create mood boards, color palettes, and material selections.
  • Produce detailed drawings and specifications.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors.
  • Oversee project implementation to ensure design intent is achieved.
  • Conduct site visits and address any design issues that arise.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Adherence to the company's mission and values in all aspects of the job.
  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a design program.
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivated, extremely organized, and a team player with a can-do attitude.
  • Experience in furniture, lighting, and textile sourcing.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Adobe Photoshop, and InDesign. Experience with Ivy software is a plus.
  • A license to drive and access to a vehicle is a plus.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative thinking with the ability to suggest improvements.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and integrity.
  • Motivated to learn and grow.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 2-3 days/week in office (20 hours/week). This is an on-site, for-credit internship for Fall/Winter 2026, requiring in-person attendance at the Philadelphia office.
