About the role

The Interior Associate II supports the design and delivery of interior design projects from concept through construction. Responsibilities include assisting in the design process, preparing technical documentation, coordinating project deliverables, and communicating with clients, consultants, and vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Aid in the design and delivery of interior aspects of projects, including programming, space planning, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.
  • Develop interior design solutions, finish selections, material palettes, furniture layouts, and presentation materials.
  • Participate in the selection and presentation of furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment (FF&E), color palettes, and lighting.
  • Prepare and coordinate construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Provide design support and documentation to communicate design ideas from concept through completion, including renderings, graphic presentations, and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with clients, consultants, vendors, and contractors to support project goals and schedules.
  • Support and mentor Interior Associate I team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design from an accredited program.
  • 3–5 years of interior design experience.
  • Experience developing and maintaining client relationships.
  • Working knowledge of programming, space planning, furniture specification, finish selections, and construction documentation.
  • AutoCAD and Revit experience required.
  • SketchUp experience desired.
  • Strong verbal, written, organizational, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple project assignments and deadlines.
  • NCIDQ certification in progress or preferred.

Qualifications

  • Interior Design degree from an accredited program.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Pay

$57,000 - $77,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity)
