Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide onsite Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for employees across multiple business functions, resolving hardware, software, access, connectivity, and productivity-related issues across desktops, laptops, mobile devices, collaboration platforms, telephony, printing, conferencing technology, and business applications.
- Administer user accounts, permissions, licenses, password resets, and access requests within cloud and on-premises identity management platforms.
- Support employee onboarding, offboarding, and role transitions.
- Manage endpoint and technology lifecycle activities, including device provisioning, endpoint administration, software deployment, patching, compliance activities, upgrades, equipment moves, maintenance, inventory management, and asset retirement.
- Support operational and business-critical technology used throughout office and facility environments, including workstations, peripheral devices, scanners, printers, and network-connected systems.
- Escalate issues to appropriate internal teams, vendors, or external support partners as needed.
- Troubleshoot network and connectivity issues involving wired and wireless infrastructure, remote access solutions, printing services, and connected devices.
- Coordinate with external technology partners and vendors on escalations, projects, equipment support, and onsite technical activities.
- Maintain technology asset records, system documentation, knowledge resources, standard operating procedures, and support materials.
- Aid in equipment procurement and lifecycle planning.
- Deliver end-user training and guidance on workplace technology, collaboration tools, cybersecurity awareness, and organizational procedures.
- Perform hands-on technology installations, workstation deployments, equipment relocations, cabling activities, and other onsite support tasks while adhering to applicable safety requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance system reliability, reduce operational disruptions, strengthen security, and improve the end-user experience.
Requirements
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in information technology support, desktop support, service desk, systems support, or a similar technical support position.
- Working knowledge of modern desktop operating systems, cloud-based productivity and collaboration platforms, identity and access management systems, and enterprise user administration, including account management, permissions, licensing, and credential support.
- Experience with device provisioning, software deployment, patch management, endpoint administration, and technology asset lifecycle management.
- Experience with enterprise endpoint management platforms is preferred.
- Solid understanding of computer hardware, peripheral devices, printing and scanning technologies, mobile devices, telephony systems, conferencing equipment, and general workplace technology.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve common end-user technology issues while recognizing when escalation is appropriate.
- Strong customer service, communication, organizational, documentation, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to manage multiple support requests simultaneously and collaborate effectively with employees, technology teams, external vendors, and third-party support partners in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work onsite and safely perform hands-on technology support activities, including installing, configuring, relocating, assembling, and replacing standard technology equipment, with reasonable accommodation where applicable.
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of networking concepts, including IP networking, name resolution, address assignment, remote connectivity, wired and wireless networking, printing services, and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of computer hardware, peripheral devices, printing and scanning technologies, mobile devices, telephony systems, conferencing equipment, and general workplace technology.
- Experience with Exchange Online, Teams administration, SharePoint permissions, OneDrive troubleshooting, mobile device management, VoIP, video conferencing, or conference room technology.
- Familiarity with Windows Autopilot, endpoint compliance, application deployment, PowerShell, or basic scripting.
- CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft 365, Endpoint Administrator, or similar certifications.
- Familiarity with SOC 2 Type II, security controls, audit evidence collection, or IT compliance practices.
