Interim Sales & Use Tax Specialist

We are seeking an Interim Sales & Use Tax / Accountant to support a leading beverage packaging and manufacturing organization. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of sales and use tax compliance while supporting broader accounting functions within a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage all sales and use tax filings and related compliance requirements
• Maintain and monitor filing schedules, deadlines, and tax obligations
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of required tax filings
• Support general accounting activities, including G/L accounting and other ad hoc accounting projects
• Assist the accounting team during periods of fluctuating tax workload
• Maintain organized documentation and records related to tax compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
• Experience handling sales and use tax compliance and filings
• Accounting background with exposure to general ledger accounting or related accounting functions
