Interim Perioperative/OR Manager

About the role

An Interim Perioperative/OR Manager is needed to lead operating room operations at a Level II trauma center performing approximately 7,800 surgical cases annually. The role reports dually to the Medical Director of Anesthesia and the Director of Surgery, overseeing approximately 55 FTEs.

Responsibilities

• Establish clear leadership expectations for staff support, healthy communication, excellence, and teamwork.
• Promote surgeon satisfaction through increased leadership visibility and proactive communication.
• Identify improvements to patient scheduling, staff scheduling, and room turnover times to maximize prime‑time utilization and support increased case volumes.

Requirements

• BSN required; master’s degree strongly preferred.
• Active North Dakota RN license or multistate RN license required.
• Minimum of seven years of perioperative nursing experience and five years of leadership experience required.
• Ability to circulate and/or scrub as needed required.
