Interim Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

About the Role

This position is responsible for staff training, education, and ensuring quality care in a healthcare facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide orientation, ongoing education, and learning opportunities for nursing staff.
• Monitor nursing activities to maintain compliance with state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Oversee infection prevention and control programs.
• Support staff development to enhance skills and attitudes for safe and effective duties.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of direct care experience with multiple residents.
• Nursing degree from an accredited institution and current, unencumbered LPN/LVN license.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and long-term care standards.
• Training in adult learning or prior training experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Infection Prevention Certification.
• Supervisory experience.
• Experience with PointClickCare software.
