Interim ER Leader
About the role
The Position An Interim ER Leader is needed to provide operational and clinical leadership for the Emergency Department. Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, this leader will oversee a team of approximately 19 FTEs.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily Emergency Department operations
- Ensure regulatory compliance and quality standards
- Manage staffing and scheduling
- Support clinical excellence
- Participate in Nursing Administration on-call coverage
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to lead under pressure
- Absolutely patient-focused
- Able to adapt quickly to changing needs
- Excellent communication skills
- Bachelor's degree required
- Active New Mexico RN license required
- Minimum of five years of RN experience, including two years in critical care and two years in a leadership role

Compensation Details
Compensation Range: $150,000 to $165,000 annually. The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits. The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
