Interim Director of Analytics

About the role
As an Interim Director of Analytics, you will work on a variety of reporting projects for healthcare organizations. You will gather reporting requirements, design and develop reports, conduct testing and validation, and provide post-implementation support. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
This is a technical, architect-level leadership role within a cross-matrix management structure. You will influence, align, and bring together decentralized data teams and resources, even without direct reporting relationships. The broader Data & AI organization spans:
- Data in Transit: EDI, APIs, and integrations
- Data at Rest: PACS and related data infrastructure
- Data Products: Analytics-focused products designed around consumer/customer needs
Responsibilities
- Design and build data platforms with a strong understanding of the broader data ecosystem
- Gather reporting requirements and develop reports for healthcare organizations
- Conduct testing and validation of reports
- Provide post-implementation support
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success
- Influence and align decentralized data teams and resources
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, enterprise data platforms, or related areas, including leadership experience
- Healthcare data experience, including familiarity with clinical data, EHR ecosystems, interoperability, and related healthcare data environments
- Experience designing, building, modernizing, or scaling enterprise data platforms
- Experience with Databricks/lakehouse architecture strongly preferred
- Databricks certification preferred
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
