About the role
Serve as an Interdisciplinary Architect or Engineer (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical) within Construction Division at Jacksonville District.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement construction plans and specifications
- Collaborate with other architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project compliance with design standards and regulations
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on construction projects
- Prepare and review construction documents and estimates
- Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to address project concerns and issues
Requirements
- Master's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field from an accredited institution
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in architecture, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering
- Knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- Professional registration preferred (e.g., Architectural Registration Exam (ARE), Professional Engineer (PE) license)
- Experience with construction management software and tools
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices and green building technologies
Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar architectural software
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail
