We need to output HTML fragment with sections for Duties, Conditions of employment (maybe as a section? The instructions: use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). So we should map content to these headings. The posting includes Duties, Conditions of employment (which is like Requirements? Actually Conditions of employment includes citizenship, clearance, drug test, travel etc. That could be under Requirements or Qualifications? The instructions: Use headings for section headings like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. So we need to decide which sections have real content. We have Duties (list of duties). We have Conditions of employment (list of requirements). We have Qualifications (specialized experience, education). We have Additional Information (relocation incentive, drug testing, etc.) maybe could be Benefits? But Benefits section only if posting actually states them. There's a paragraph about benefits: "A career with the U.S. government provides employees with a comprehensive benefits package..." That's generic but it's actual content about benefits. So we can include Benefits section. We should not include Pay or Schedule unless specified. Not present. We should not repeat job title. We need to use

for each section heading. Use
  • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. Use

for prose. We must preserve all substantive information, not invent or summarize away detail. Remove boilerplate like cookie/navigation/legal/EEO etc. The text includes some boilerplate like "Conditions of employment Must be a US Citizen..." that's substantive. Also includes "Additional Information" about relocation incentive, drug testing etc. That's substantive. We need to parse the duties: It's a block of sentences with some weird formatting. We need to extract each duty as list items. Let's rewrite duties clearly: - Provide engineering and program management of the research, design, development, test, evaluation, production, support, and modernization of computer systems used in SSBN and SSGN Subsystems. - Participate in the software/firmware development process to provide requirement analysis of the allocated requirements to ensure they meet system specification requirements and are testable. - Assist in the preparation of technical Statements-of-Work (SOWs) and requirement specifications for systems acquisition. - Evaluate the contractor software/firmware development processes, product test results, field trends, and DCMA audit results for process trends, as well as contractor trend analysis to identify and implement process improvements. - Ensure that problem resolutions, which may involve correction of a design deficiency, re-coordination of a system interface, or a variety of actions, are identified, initiated, and completed as warranted. - Provide oversight of software development of SSP and SPS mission support software products such as the ITEM Comparison Tool, Software Cos-c, etc., Model Tool, and/or WSS/AWIS simulator operational test faulted cases. We'll make each a

  • . Conditions of employment: list items: - Must be a US Citizen. - Must be determined suitable for federal employment. - Must participate in the direct deposit pay program. - New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. - Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326. - Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service. - You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal. - Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing. - This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. Qualifications: list items: - Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. - Experience in working with complex systems or subsystems in the areas of, requirements analysis, design, test, installation, and sustainment efforts while representing an organization, and/or establishing and maintaining relationships with key individuals or groups. - Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website: OPM Engineer 1550 Series For 0800 Series OPM 800 Series. - Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. - Education: 08XX - Professional Engineering Series Professional Engineering Series (08XX) - Degree: A professional engineering degree from an ABET-accredited college or university; OR a degree with curriculum in differential and integral calculus, with additional courses in five of the following seven areas of engineering science or physics: (a) statics, dynamics; (b) strength of materials (stress-strain relationships); (c) fluid mechanics, hydraulics; (d) thermodynamics; (e) electrical fields and circuits; (f) nature and properties of materials (relating particle and aggregate structure to properties); and (g) any other comparable area of fundamental engineering science or physics, such as optics, heat transfer, soil mechanics; or electronics; OR Professional Engineering Series (08XX) - Substitution of Education/Experience: A combination of education and experience that furnished (1) a thorough knowledge of the physical and mathematical sciences underlying professional engineering; and (2) a good understanding, both theoretical and practical, of the engineering sciences and techniques and their applications to one of the branches of engineering. The adequacy of such background must be demonstrated by one of the following: (a) professional registration, (b) evidence of successfully passing the Engineer-in-Training (EIT) examination; (c) successful completion of at least 60 semester hours of courses in the physical, mathematical, and engineering sciences and in engineering that included the courses specified above; or (d) successful completion of a curriculum leading to a bachelor's degree in engineering technology or in an appropriate professional field, e.g., physics, chemistry, architecture, computer science, mathematics, hydrology, or geology, may be accepted in lieu of a degree in engineering provided that it included at least 1 year of professional engineering experience acquired under professional engineering supervision and guidance. (Note to Applicants: Please see the Qualifications & Education sections of this announcement for a link to the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Individual Occupational Requirements. OPM guidance indicates that there should be either an established plan of intensive training to develop professional engineering competence, or several years of prior professional engineering-type experience. This training plan or experience must be well documented and provided at time of application.) OR 1550 - Computer Science Series Successful completion of a bachelor's degree in computer science. OR Successful completion of a bachelor's or higher degree with 30 semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science. At least 15 of my 30 semester hours were in a combination of statistics and mathematics that included differential and integral calculus. We need to preserve all substantive info; but it's huge. We can keep as paragraphs or list items? The instruction: Use
    • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits, and

for prose. For qualifications, it's a mix of prose and lists. We could treat each bullet as list item if it's a list. The qualifications section includes multiple paragraphs; we could break into list items for each distinct requirement. But we must not invent or summarize away detail. We can keep as

      for prose and

      • for lists where appropriate. Simplify: We'll create sections:

        Duties

        • ...
        • ...

        Requirements

        (maybe for Conditions of employment)
        • ...
        • ...

        Qualifications

        We could have

        for the prose paragraphs and

        • for the list items like specialized experience, experience working with complex systems, etc. But the qualifications section includes a lot of detail about education; we could keep as

          for each paragraph. Better: Use

          for the big blocks and

          • for the enumerated items like "Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year..." etc. Let's extract list items from qualifications: - At least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. - Experience in working with complex systems or subsystems in the areas of requirements analysis, design, test, installation, and sustainment efforts while representing an organization, and/or establishing and maintaining relationships with key individuals or groups. Then education details: we can keep as

paragraphs. Then Benefits section: The paragraph about benefits. We must not include Pay or Schedule. Now produce HTML fragment. Check for any boilerplate to remove: The text includes "Help A career with the U.S. government provides employees with a comprehensive benefits package..." That's substantive. Also includes "How You Will Be Evaluated" etc. That's procedural; maybe we should remove as it's application instructions? The instruction says remove application instructions. "How You Will Be Evaluated" is part of evaluation process; could be considered application instructions. Safer to remove. Also "Resumes are restricted to no more than 2 pages." etc. Remove. Also "All qualification requirements must be met before being considered for any vacancies." Remove. Also "Federal annuitant information:" etc. Might be considered boilerplate? It's substantive about annuitant policy but maybe not required. The instruction says remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. The annuitant info is legal/policy; could be considered boilerplate. Safer to remove. Also "Veteran's preference does not apply..." etc. Might be considered boilerplate; remove. Also "Candidates should be committed to improving the efficiency..." that's maybe fluff but still substantive? Could be considered boilerplate; but it's about commitment. Might be okay to keep? The instruction says remove boilerplate; that line is generic fluff; I'd remove. Also "This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program." etc. That's substantive about hiring authority; maybe keep? It's about the position. Could be considered additional information. Might keep as part of Additional Information. But we already have Additional Information about relocation incentive, drug testing, etc. We could incorporate that into a section like "Additional Information" but we only have allowed headings list; we could put under Benefits? Not exactly. Could create a section "Details" but not allowed. The instruction says use those headings for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). It doesn't forbid other headings, but says use

for section headings (e.g. those). It implies we should use those headings when appropriate. So we can stick to those
