Key Responsibilities
- Design interactive elements such as buttons, navigation menus, animations, and other components that enhance user engagement and ensure a seamless user experience.
- Conduct user research and usability studies to understand how users interact with digital products, identifying pain points and areas for improvement.
- Create interactive prototypes that demonstrate key user interactions and flows, ensuring that design concepts are thoroughly tested before development.
- Work closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and developers to ensure that interaction designs are both user-friendly and technically feasible.
- Congduct user testing sessions to gather feedback on interaction design prototypes, using insights to refine and iterate on designs for optimal usability.
- Ensure that all interaction patterns and behaviors are consistent across products and align with the overall design system and brand guidelines.
- Implement interaction designs that are accessible and inclusive, ensuring that users with diverse abilities can easily navigate and use digital products.
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience as an Interaction Designer or in a similar role, with a portfolio showcasing interactive designs and successful projects.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in interaction design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar, along with prototyping tools like InVision, Principle, or Framer.
- User-Centered Design: Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies, with experience in conducting user research and usability testing.
- Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail in designing interactive elements that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively to improve user interactions and address usability challenges.
- Collaboration: Strong ability to work in a collaborative environment, working effectively with designers, developers, and other stakeholders.
