Responsibilities
- Deliver, teach, and facilitate courses to meet all course and Customer learning objectives.
- Monitor student progress during course delivery and provide feedback to the Customer.
- Support development of new, or modification of existing courses in coordination with Technical Instructional Systems Designers, as approved by the Customer.
- Engage and teach adult learners using professional and technical experiences.
- Create lesson plans, conduct training sessions, and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
- Instruct intelligence professionals on tradecraft.
- Develop and/or refine curricula to meet evolving customer training needs, establish course content and objectives.
- Enhance student competencies in course-specific technical intelligence disciplines.
- Evaluate student performance and make recommendations for improvement.
- Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies and subject areas.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience delivering content for adult learners.
- Demonstrated experience tailoring communications and facilitating discussions among small and large groups of people with diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to adapt specialized training to real-world scenarios.
- Demonstrated ability as a self-starter, to team effectively, regularly work outside your comfort zone, and to adapt to emerging technologies and evolving requirements.
- Experience working in a collaborative team environment and partnering across Sponsor offices and mission centers/directorates.
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve both technical and non-technical issues (e.g., equipment, systems, networks, computer operations, etc.) without supervision.
- Skills to explain technical information to non-technical individuals.
- Understanding of design, operations, or maintenance of infrastructure systems such as internet, cellular, commercial, or satellite systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, science or 5 or more years of experience with Customer as a staff employee or contractor, supporting mission in any of the following areas: Technical Research, Development and Engineering or Technical Operations.
- 5 or more years of experience providing training with the Customer.
- Certificate in Training, Facilitation, Teaching, and/or Learning from a professional organization (e.g., Foundations in Teaching and Learning offered by Udemy).
- Extensive experience with the Customer supporting multiple missions.
- Experience with the Customer supporting more than one area of technical expertise (Targeting, Technical Operations, or Technical Research, Development or Engineering).
- Adult learning experience teaching technical courses using a broad range of delivery modalities (synchronous, asynchronous, instructor led, web-based training, virtual training and/or blended courses).
- Experience technical targeting in more than one Customer line of business.
- Familiarity with geospatial and imagery tools and related IC capabilities.
- Working knowledge of Customer and Technical Targeting Analyst role and enabling technical operations and engineering developments through the delivery of related intelligence.
Pay
A candidate must be a US Citizen and requires an active/current TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
Schedule
The schedule may require occasional travel to CONUS.
