Intelligence Analyst (Counter Terrorism) - Mid
About the role
Assertive Professionals is in search of an Intelligence Analyst to support our National Security Customer in the Washington Metro Area. This is an open position with a salary range of $80,000-$95,000, based on meeting or exceeding the requirements, and includes a $1,200 annual corporate compliance bonus.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic, operational, and tactical analysis as required based on raw intelligence collected from a variety of sources
- Respond to changes in analytical priorities
- Assist an integrated analytical team with conceptualization, production planning, research, analysis, drafting, and intelligence products on identified CT topics while adhering to IC and DHS tradecraft guidance
- Assist with analyzing all available information, reviewing raw and finished intelligence, and collaborating and coordinating with IC, DHS Intelligence Enterprise, and other partners
- Assist with drafting and reviewing collection requirements, responding to requests for information (RFIs) or information needs of DHS leaders and stakeholders
- Assist with presentations, briefing preparation, product preparation, peer-review, and subject matter advice
- Respond to Government Leadership feedback during prescribed timelines
Requirements and Qualifications
Required experience and qualifications include an Active TS/SCI Clearance and a working knowledge of databases and software programs used in the intelligence environment, including but not limited to: Microsoft Office suite, M3, TAC, HOTR, Google Earth, Intelink, National Exploitation System, Gemini, MIDB, GCCS-J, and various message handling systems.

- 6 years of relevant experience with an Associate's degree in a relevant area of study
- 4 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant area of study
- 2 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree in a relevant area of study
- 0 years of relevant experience with a Doctorate in a relevant area of study
Relevant fields of study include English, Engineering, Business, the Sciences, or related concentrations (e.g., Project Management, Intelligence, Public Administration, Public Policy, American Government/Governance, Law/Legal Studies, or Management/Leadership).
