About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Intel Analyst to join our team. The Intel Analyst will collect, analyze, and disseminate intelligence related to security threats, geopolitical developments, and other relevant data, providing actionable insights to guide organizational strategy and decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Gather intelligence from a wide range of sources, including open-source material, government sources, field reports, satellite imagery, and human intelligence.
- Track and monitor ongoing threats, incidents, and geopolitical events, and report significant findings to appropriate stakeholders.
- Analyze raw data to identify patterns, interpret trends, and create actionable intelligence reports.
- Prepare detailed reports and briefings for decision-makers, highlighting key findings and offering strategic recommendations.
- Develop short-term and long-term assessments of potential threats and emerging risks.
- Identify and provide insights on mitigating risks to organizational security, personnel, and assets.
- Provide support to senior leadership in developing strategic plans and responding to operational challenges.
- Recommend actions to address security threats, including the analysis of terrorism, cyber threats, and geopolitical instability.
- Utilize intelligence tools, databases, and software for data collection, analysis, and reporting while maintaining data integrity.
- Offer real-time analysis during crises to inform operational decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Intelligence Studies, Political Science, Security, etc.) required.
- 3-5 years of experience in intelligence analysis, military, law enforcement, or cybersecurity preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills to present complex information clearly.
- Experience with data mining, gathering, analysis, and report writing.
- Ability to interpret foreign languages (Spanish, French, German, Italian, Japanese) is preferred.
- High proficiency in using intelligence gathering tools and databases.
- Strong attention to detail and active listening skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products and database management.
- Desktop publication skills are a plus.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, handle sensitive information, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in a sensitive, complex, and confidential environment.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check.
- Valid state-issued driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation required.
- Ability to work outside of standard business hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
