About the role

Allied Universal® is hiring an Intelligence Analyst for its Global Security Operations Center (GSOC). The Analyst leads investigations on behalf of a high-profile customer, tasks GSOC Operators and Junior Analysts, and collaborates with Senior Management to set priorities and ensure quality control. The role involves managing the intelligence cycle, producing threat assessments and security products, and advising leadership on risk mitigation and operational improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, evaluate, edit, and disseminate analytical and investigative reports; ensure accuracy, sufficiency, and professional quality.
  • Conduct evaluations of security assignments to identify problems, define resolutions, and implement mitigation plans.
  • Decipher, evaluate, and prioritize intelligence and events to aid global risk mitigation for people, assets, and brand.
  • Initiate intelligence reporting on significant events; focus on proactive analysis and prevention; support decision-making for preventative measures and real-time response.
  • Proof-read briefings, white papers, executive summaries; attend meetings and execute plans for the Operations Center Supervisor.
  • Advise on technical and administrative functions, including internal reports, form control, and file management; develop and implement procedures.
  • Participate in business continuity exercises, internal reviews, and self-assessments; collaborate on remedial training and security procedure updates.
  • Prepare analyses and assessments using expert judgment and specialized experience to interpret information and make decisions.
  • Manage the intelligence cycle: collect, collate, evaluate, interpret, and analyze information to produce timely, accurate, and relevant intelligence.
  • Produce threat assessments, security alerts, country risk assessments, multimedia presentations, and other security products for dissemination.
  • Contribute to global security projects (physical investigations, travel and event security) and take an active leadership role as determined by Senior Management.
  • Maintain reciprocal relationships with law enforcement, intelligence and security agencies, regulatory authorities, customs organizations, commercial vendors, and other relevant bodies.
  • Enhance intelligence collection plans and priorities; collect, validate, and document information; evaluate source reliability and credibility; interpret and assess intelligence.
  • Evaluate and improve operating procedures and working practices documentation for intelligence operations.
  • Determine and recommend courses of action for planning, direction, and prioritization of security controls and intelligence development operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Security Intelligence, Threat Analysis, or a related field or minimum of two (2) years of civilian or military intelligence analysis experience.
  • Fusion Center, law enforcement, customs, security intelligence, military, or commercial intelligence background.
  • Expertise in research, analysis, and assessment methods and techniques.
  • Ability to task external sources and agencies to identify threats to a high-profile customer.
  • Intermediate to advanced written and oral communication skills (report writing, presentations).
  • Aptitude to expand geopolitical awareness.
  • Strong multitasking skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite/SharePoint.
  • Flexible schedule with on-call availability as needed.
  • Self-starter with minimal oversight; strong organization skills to manage multiple priorities.
  • Willingness and ability to challenge routine and standards appropriately.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Real-time Watch Center or Global Security Operations Center experience.
  • Fusion Center, law enforcement, customs, security intelligence, military, or commercial intelligence background.
  • Ability to complete Alcon Watch Officer certification training within six months.
  • Direct experience with Lenel, Dataminr, Horizon, or comparable travel risk, threat intelligence, and critical event management systems.
