Summary Of Duties And Responsibilities
- Evaluate and assess information to contribute to the production of raw and finished intelligence products.
- Review and analyze technical and human source collections to identify gaps, new targets and potential subjects for investigation.
- Respond to requests, conduct relevant database checks and provide detailed written responses to the appropriate audience.
- Conduct tactical analysis from multiple data sources that contribute to criminal and civil investigations.
- Conduct extensive research within multiple external and/or internal databases and sources to find relevant information by identifying gaps, patterns, trends and anomalies to produce reports and tactical products for dissemination.
- Determine the best format to present information and prepare briefings and written reports regarding the conclusions and recommendations drawn from data and information.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s or an advanced degree in a criminal justice related field and three years of related work experience are required.
- The ability to demonstrate strong leadership, judgment and problem solving skills is required.
- A working knowledge of criminal intelligence analysis and strong technological skills are required.
- Attendance, flexibility, outstanding written and communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain satisfactory working relationships with other agencies and OAG employees is required.
